Why do you love fitness?
I love fitness because of its ability to positively transform my mental state in such a profound way. All of our pleasure systems are connected to our ability to use our bodies! I’m talking endorphins baby! Had a challenging day? Go work out and within the time it takes to work up a sweat things all of a sudden start to make sense again and by the end of the workout you have the drive to make it happen!
What do you love about being a Quiktrain fitness coach?
I love the ability that we have to transform lives. They say that once you see the path in one thing you can recognize it in all things. With every successful transformation there’s a story of perseverance, dedication, and mental toughness, all fundamental character traits that spill over into every aspect of life. Through this journey we do not only create healthier bodies we create better humans!
What is your exercise super power: The muscle up
It’s a gymnastics move that requires a harmony of speed, power, strength and timing. It took me a long time to learn and most people find it very difficult. As trainers sometimes we forget that learning is the same whether you are an elite athlete or a beginner. It teaches me to always exercise patience with my clients and one day they too will be able to activate their superpower!
Quirky fact about me:
I dream fairly often that I possess superhuman powers. I know it sounds crazy! Every dream is a different mission but the result is always the same. I am invincible and I can’t be stopped on my way to victory!
